Should I choose mechanical engineering or chemical engineering in college?

My university has more reputable mechanical engineering have an interest in chemistry but want good job opportunities which know chemical engineers are getting can someone please help me decide.

do whatever one you like best and you could probably learn about cad and matlab somewhere else.

Mechanical engineers are getting good offers too, albeit at a slightly lower rate than Chem. E’s. Mechanical engineering covers a broader range of careers, but both will remain in high demand. I chose mechanical because the coursework was less demanding and it required fewer credit hours. I had no trouble finding a high paying job that I like.
