Konkurence udr\u017euje firmu aktivn\u00ed, podn\u011bcuje ji k\u00a0inovac\u00edm, vede ke zdokonalov\u00e1n\u00ed a variabilit\u011b a tak\u00e9 k\u00a0vym\u00fd\u0161len\u00ed nov\u00fdch druh\u016f produkt\u016f. Z\u00e1kazn\u00edk (spot\u0159ebitel) m\u00e1 pr\u00e1vo si mezi produkty vyb\u00edrat a m\u016f\u017ee b\u00fdt ochotn\u00fd si p\u0159iplatit za produkt, kter\u00fd se li\u0161\u00ed od b\u011b\u017en\u00fdch.2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Oligopol \u2013 je \u010dast\u00e1 situace, kdy je na trhu n\u011bkolik firem, kter\u00e9 vyr\u00e1b\u00ed stejn\u00fd nebo podobn\u00fd produkt. Doch\u00e1z\u00ed tak k\u00a0situaci kdy bu\u010f jedna velk\u00e1 firma je dominantn\u00ed, s\u00a0cenov\u00fdm v\u016fdcovstv\u00edm, a kolem n\u00ed existuj\u00ed men\u0161\u00ed, kter\u00e9 vyr\u00e1b\u00ed stejn\u00e9 produkty, nebo tzv. smluvn\u00ed oligopol, kter\u00fd je neleg\u00e1ln\u00ed. Jde o situaci, kdy se firmy spole\u010dn\u011b domluv\u00ed nap\u0159\u00edklad na tom, jak si rozd\u011bl\u00ed z\u00e1kazn\u00edky a jak vysok\u00e9 budou ceny za jejich produkty.
